The action was fast and furious over the summer in sprucing up the campus of Helix Charter High School.
In keeping the campus looking good, various people gave their time and effort on different projects.
According to Lauren Knuth, community relations & engagement coordinator at the school, summer is the perfect opportunity to get special projects done. Knuth said some fun painting projects got done while school was out of session.
School officials worked with Dano of Dano Signs, who lives in La Mesa and has been painting signs and murals in the community for more than 42 years. It’s a family operation and the father/daughter duo completed most of the projects before school started. It was so much fun watching the progress and we hope the students, staff and community enjoy the new artwork!
