The Patrick Henry High School golfers played exceptional in winning the Saints Invitational Tournament last week at San Diego Country Club.

The team won the tournament by 22 stokes outplaying seven other excellent golf schools including Saint Augustine, LaJolla, Canyon Crest, Rancho Bernardo, East Lake, Steele Canyon And Coronado. Patriot senior Taylor Tweet won the individual title shooting an outstanding score of 74 on a very difficult course. The team also included seniors Owen Carson (76), Ethan Roe (76), Wyatt Zeiger (77) and junior Huy Le (81).

In addition to winning the Saints Tournament, the Patriot golfers completed the first half of the match play season 7-1 with their only loss versus Cathedral, currently the top team in the county.
