REMEMBER AUNT EMMA’S PANCAKES at the southwest corner of Reed Avenue and Mission Boulevard? Me neither. I think by the time I moved to Mission Beach in 1967, it had already become Uncle Susie’s. It soon morphed into Krishna Mulvaney’s and eventually was dozed to make way for the Promenade Shopping Center. I’ve printed the full menu in the February Pacific Beach Historical Society newsletter. Let me know if you’d like a copy. You can also access it on line — in full color. Email me either way.
