May is Bike Month and City of Santee is partnerEn g with SANDAG and PEDEGO to be a pit stop for Bike Anywhere Day on Thursday, May 16.

The City of Santee’s pit stop will be at the intersection of Mast Blvd. and Carlton Hills Blvd. from 7 – 10 a.m.

Participants are encouraged to register on the SANDAG website to commit to riding their bike. All registered participants will be entered to win an E-Bike. Anyone who rides their bike to the pit stop may pick up a free t-shirt (while supplies last). This is a great opportunity to meet other members of the biking community and make use of the City’s bike routes.

Bike Anywhere Day encourages everyone to ride their bike to work, school, the beach or anywhere in the San Diego region. There will be a total of 100 pit stops throughout San Diego County.
