Scuderie Italia, at 1525 Garnet Ave., is revving up lunchtime in Pacific Beach with the launch of its new lunch menu, now available from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The Italian ristorante offers a midday pit stop for guests to fuel up on Italian favorites like Panuozzos, pasta, Peroni, and more. Scuderie’s lunch menu will include four Panuozzo and salad combos, each priced at $15.

The combos feature an arugula salad with shaved Parmigiano, cherry tomatoes, and balsamic dressing, paired with a choice of an authentic Italian pizza sandwich, such as the Salsiccia e Friarielli (above), made with sausage, broccoli, and provola cheese; the vegetarian-friendly Norma, crafted with eggplant, tomato, and provola cheese; the Polpette e Scamorza, made with meatballs, provola cheese, and basil; and the Caprese, with buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto, basil, tomatoes, and balsamic dressing.

Another standout is The Italian Job, featuring USDA prime ground beef, provola cheese, caramelized onion, spicy mayo, and arugula, served on Puccia bread and paired with a Peroni beer for $18.

Pasta lovers looking to set the pace can choose from a pack of flavorful frontrunners including Pasta al Forno of the Day, a rotating baked pasta special, served with a choice of one glass of beer, wine or soda, priced at $19; and the pasta, drink, and salad combination, featuring a customizable “A Modo Mio” pasta with a choice of pasta shape and sauce, along with a fresh salad and a choice of one glass of beer, wine, or soda for $24.

Insalata Scuderie, a vibrant arugula salad with shaved Parmigiano, cherry tomatoes, balsamic, and spicy aioli, is also available with chicken for $17 or salmon for $19.
