
This past commencement weekend, San Diego State University celebrated a major milestone in reaching 500,000 living alumni. This means that with the graduating Class of 2024, the university will now have over half a million living alumni around the world.
Last Friday through this past Sunday, SDSU was scheduled to hold nine separate commencement ceremonies with nearly 12,000 degree candidates eligible to participate in the university’s 2024 commencement weekend.
An earlier ceremony was held May 9, for SDSU Imperial Valley graduates.
The top three degrees for the Class of 2024 are:
No. 3: Business Administration – Marketing
No. 2: Criminal Justice
No. 1: Psychology
