SeaWorld San Diego is honoring the men and women who have previously served in the U.S. armed services with a special free admissions program. Starting May 20, the park is offering complimentary admission to military veterans and up to three guests. Tickets must be obtained by June 9 and redeemed for park admission by July 15. This offer is available online only. Veterans must register at WavesofHonor.com in advance, and verify their proof of service through the ID.me qualification process. SeaWorld works with ID.me to provide an online verification of former military personnel in a secure and privacy-enhancing manner. Once veterans and their guests have registered online, they can bring their e-tickets directly to the park’s entrance turnstiles. “I truly appreciate SeaWorld’s long-standing support of our armed forces and I’ve enjoyed visiting the park many times with my family through its complimentary ticket offer for the military,” said Dennis Dubard, a retired Navy captain and the former commanding officer of the amphibious assault ship, USS Peleliu. “I’m also delighted they are again honoring military veterans with a free ticket offer.”
