Slowly Restaurant & Lounge at 1520 Garnet Ave., has opened the doors of its intimate indoor-outdoor space for special events and private dinners, complete with a three-course prix fixe menu, available now to reserve.
Guests can enjoy dishes from a prix fixe menu, priced at $65 per person. First course selections include the choice between the restaurant’s vibrant carrot salad with shaved heirloom carrots, asparagus, pickled beets, orange and Fresno chili and poppy seed-dill dressing; or signature Caesar salad with herbaceous dressing, parmesan crisps, and crostini.
Entree selections include chef Yadira’s signature herb-marinated chicken (above), served with cauliflower purée, sautéed asparagus, and chimichurri sauce; roasted maitake mushrooms paired with crispy potatoes and mole sauce; and seasonal risotto.
For a sweet finale, guests can choose from pay de queso and chef’s gelato. A variety of other dishes may be added for an additional charge.
For those interested in customizing their event, Slowly can also create curated holiday menus featuring seasonal dishes made from the freshest ingredients.
Slowly offers versatile spaces for gatherings of all sizes. The main dining room seats up to 65 guests and requires a food and beverage minimum of $3,500 from Sunday through Thursday, and $7,500 on Friday and Saturday.
The bar has a reception capacity for up to 50 guests, while the semi-private dining area seats up to 36 guests, with a food and beverage minimum of $2,500 from Sunday through Thursday, and $3,500 on Friday and Saturday.
Slowly’s interior radiates inviting warmth and a relaxed, yet upscale vibe with oversized banquettes and cozy chairs upholstered in vibrant greens and rich earth tones, complemented by gold accents. Hand-painted murals by a local artist add a touch of creative flair to the dining room and bar.
