Hundreds of dancers from San Diego, throughout California, and beyond will gather in Balboa Park in San Diego from March 21-23 for the 75th Anniversary of Fiesta de la Cuadrilla (Festival of the Square).

Although the focus is on square dancing, there will be plenty of round dancing (a form of ballroom dancing), performance by the Heritage Dancers, and loads of fun and dancing over the entire weekend. Square dancing is making a comeback all over the world to include San Diego with local clubs offering classes.

Already a square or round dancer? Then plan to celebrate this diamond anniversary.

If not, take a class and join the festivities next year for the 76th anniversary.
