The survey to determine the priorities of city related concerns in Del Cerro will be mailed to all property owners the week of March 25.
Every property owner will receive a letter from the Enhance Del Cerro committee requesting property owners to respond to six questions relating to prioritizing concerns of city owned property in Del Cerro such as Medians, Open Space, Community -Identifying Signs and Community Parks. There will also be an opportunity to provide input as to concerns not listed in the survey.
Property owners will be able to take the survey online or complete the survey included with the letter and return it to the Enhance Del Cerro committee. All results of the survey should be posted online by the end of April for everyone to review.
The city is completing two Get It Done requests.
There is a replacement for Adobe Falls Rd. directional sign at the intersection of Waring Rd. and Adobe Falls Rd. A second directional sign at the same intersection should be installed by the middle of March. FODC listed a new Get Done request involving the damaged planter in the College Avenue median just south of Lambda Drive which appears to have been damaged when impacted by a vehicle.
If you have a city related concern in the Del Cerro community, submit the matter on the city’s Get It Done App or contact us and FODC will submit your request on your behalf. Email us at [email protected].
The FODC was contacted by a resident who lives adjacent to the open space on either side of Pasatiempo at the top of Del Cerro regarding the on-going nuisance and safety issues involving speeding on Pasatiempo and the continued drug use, graffiti and littering of this open space park area, particularly at night.
Bob Hickman, the chair of the FODC Crime and Safety Committee, will be meeting on the site with several residents, city staff, Anthony Hacket, the senior community relations representative for Councilmember Raul Campillo and Police Community Relations Officer Robert Raynor. Bob is also working to expand the number of Neighborhood Watch groups in Del Cerro.
If you are interested in more information about establishing a Neighborhood Watch program in your Del Cerro neighborhood, contact Bob by emailing him at [email protected].
