A woman who pleaded guilty to accessory to murder in the stabbing death of a man at a Midway area McDonald’s was remanded to jail on April 1 after she missed a probation department interview.
Brittany Marie Wolf, 36, had been free on $20,000 bond, but San Diego Superior Court Judge David Berry said she failed to show up for her interview with the probation department. The agency needs to prepare a report to give him a sentencing recommendation.
Wolf gave co-defendant Armando Manuel Parras, 33, a ride to the McDonald’s parking lot on Midway Drive on Aug. 30, 2023, where he allegedly stabbed Joshua Goodman, 44, to death. Parras got back into the minivan driven by Wolf, and she drove off.
“No one told me I had a probation interview,” said Wolf nervously to the judge on Tuesday. “I lost my phone. I’ve never been in trouble before.”
Berry told her that her release conditions were such that she was required to show up for a probation interview. The judge said her whereabouts were unknown from March 4 to March 25.
Berry revoked her bond, and a bailiff handcuffed her in court. Her sentencing date was set for April 24. She could face three years in prison, but could also get probation. Wolf pleaded guilty Jan. 7.
Jury selection in the murder trial for Parras is set for April 9. Parris has pleaded not guilty and remains in the George Bailey Detention Facility without bail. Wolf is housed in the Las Colinas Women’s Detention Facility without bail.
