The Friends of Del Cerro (FODC) welcomes Dr. Eric Frost as a new board member.
Frost is a resident of Del Cerro and recently retired after 42 years as a valued faculty member of SDSU. At SDSU, two of his many duties and responsibilities included serving as the director of the Viz Center (Vizualization Center) and co-director of the Graduate Program in Homeland Security. Fortunately for us he is also an authority on Adobe Falls.
FODC has formed a committee to begin gathering information from Del Cerro residents on how to improve our community. Let us know what your priorities are. Email us with your suggestions and do not hesitate to include photos. Email to [email protected].
We are continuing to submit requests for service to the city’s Get It Done APP or you can Download the APP from the city’s website at sandiego.gov. If you prefer to have FODC submit your request, email us at [email protected].
The free First Friday summer concert series has returned to the grass area in front of the Allied Gardens Recreation Center. The concerts run through October. The next concert is scheduled for Friday, July 7 from 6 to 8 p.m., featuring Bill Magee and his Blues Band. For more information check out the website at agfirstfridays.com.
The All Peoples Church is waiting for comments from the City of San Diego on the final EIR responses to comments.
