The Grantville-Allied Gardens Kiwanis Club is always looking for volunteers (or just those who want to visit), as the club helps out with projects throughout the neighborhood, plus surrounding areas like San Carlos and Del Cerro.

The club will have two more meetings this month — Thursday, Nov. 14 at 5:30 p.m., and Thursday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 a.m. They meet at Palisades Church on Birchwood Street, two blocks due south from Foster’s Freeze. The club is happy to welcome first-time visitors who want to get involved or to find out more about volunteering in the community. (Plus, they always have a meal at every meeting.)

GAGKC also always looks for guest speakers, so if you or your organization would like to get on the calendar, let the club know.
