MIDWAY DISTRICT — San Diego police investigators are probing a liquor-store holdup by an armed robber on Nov. 9. The gunman, who struck Sabatinis Liquor on Rosecrans Street around 7:40 p.m., burst into the store with a handgun and robbed the clerk and two customers inside before fleeing southbound in a light-colored Honda-type vehicle, according to police. The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet, 3 inches tall, between 20 and 30 years old. He entered the liquor store with a white hankerchief over his face and was wearing a black jacket and black pants, according to investigators.
