Besties, boos and everyone in between can celebrate love, laughter and friendship this Galentine’s Day at Havana 1920, GBOD Hospitality Group’s Cuban restaurant located at 548 Fifth Ave. in the Gaslamp Quarter, during its Havana Nights event from 7 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13.
The free-to-attend evening will welcome anyone looking to enjoy an exciting night out ahead of Valentine’s Day.
Guests who RSVP for the event will enjoy complimentary, tray-passed Cuban bocaditos, or small bites, and a sampling of alcoholic spirits, along with lively entertainment that will transport them straight to La Habana Vieja. To top things off, The Art of Cigar, a San Diego-based cigars manufacturing house, will roll and sell its unique, private blended cigars during the event. Guests may register in advance online here.
Attendees can raise a glass to love of all kinds with a featured sip, Princess Carrie: Forever in Our Hearts. The pink cocktail combines RumHaven coconut rum, Aperol, lime, demerara, guava and egg white, priced at $15. Additionally, Havana’s cafe will offer those with a sweet tooth a featured dessert of Pastelito Con Frutas, puff pastry filled with guava and sweet cream cheese, topped with a fruit medley in peach glaze, priced at $7. Both featured offerings will be available on Thursday, Feb. 13 and Friday, Feb. 14.
For sweethearts seeking a full dining experience, Havana 1920 will be open for dinner service, offering a menu of authentic Cuban dishes.
