PACIFIC BEACH — Discover Pacific Beach will organize its second Pacific Beach Open House on Thursday, Dec. 16 from 5 to 9 p.m. The Pacific Beach Open House is an opportunity for shoppers to purchase their holiday gifts locally while walking around the business district. “We encourage all retailers to support the effort to draw more shoppers here to get great deals and enjoy all the PB has to offer,” said Andy Hanshaw, executive director of Discover Pacific Beach. He wants to spread the word that Pacific Beach offers a convenient and exciting destination for shopping. Shops will offer special deals and stay open late to accommodate more gift seekers. Surf Indian, located at 4652 Mission Blvd., will boast 10 percent off everything except surfboards. The Surf Club Surf Shop, located at 952 Garnet Ave., will offer 20 percent off men’s and women’s apparel. Shoppers can visit Fleisher Products and Signs, located at 4666 Cass St., and purchase Mac product engraving for $10. Many additional storefronts will offer specials and warm treats to shoppers.
