Point Loma High School celebrated the 87th Homecoming in its 88-year history Nov. 8 with a joyous gathering attended by a large contingent of alumni. In the featured football game, Madison’s Warhawks, who are defending state champions, defeated the Dogs 28-7 in a hard-fought battle. The parade of floats and dancers drew loud cheers from the crowd, with the seniors, as always, taking first place, followed by the juniors, sophomores and freshmen.
