The City of San Diego’s Environmental Services Department is hosting a household hazardous waste disposal day on Saturday, April 13.
The 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. event will take place at Chollas Operations Yard, 2797 Caminito Chollas, San Diego.
Those looking to dispose of hazardous waste materials can bring the following: Motor oil – oil filters – antifreeze – auto batteres – household batteries – florescent bulbs/tubes. There is a limitation of 10 gallons of waste and no business waste will be accepted.
By properly recycling household and automotive products, residents can help prevent pollution in coastal waters and local waterways.
