
Wendy Kwasny is an award-winning fine artist based in San Diego, known for her mastery in oil and acrylic portraiture.
With a BA in Fine Art from San Diego State University, Kwasny has spent more than 25 years exhibiting her work in various galleries throughout San Diego, consistently earning recognition for her exceptional craftsmanship and emotional depth.
Currently working from her home studio, Kwasny has completed numerous commissioned pieces and maintains active memberships with the San Diego Watercolor Society, the Foothills Art Association, and the Portrait Society of America.
For Kwasny, painting is not just a practice but an integral part of who she is.
The creative process offers her a sense of serenity, calm, and confidence amidst the chaos of everyday life. Her work is infused with that sense of peace, as she carefully chooses each brushstroke and color to capture the unique essence of her subjects—whether a person, a landscape, or an object—ultimately telling their story through her art.
