At the La Jolla Community Planning Association’s meeting today, Feb. 3, members will have a final chance to announce their candidacy for the March election. The LJCPA will hold its regular annual election on March 3 to fill six of the 18 trustee seats for a three-year term. The February meeting will also be the last opportunity for residents to renew their memberships or join the association in order to vote in the election. A recently announced vacancy means a seventh seat will also be up for consideration. To be a candidate for a trustee seat, members must be in good standing and must have attended at least three LJCPA meetings during the 12 months prior to the election.
