The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce is producing a special evening mixer and celebration in honor of the 30th Anniversary of the City of La Mesa’s Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol.
The event will take place Wednesday, June 5, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Hooleys Public House, 5500 Grossmont Center Drive (in Grossmont Center).
These retired group of volunteers assist the La Mesa Police Department in many ways.
They direct traffic at city annual events, like Oktoberfest, and the Flag Day Parade.They assist by working with La Mesa homebound seniors, through the You Are Never Alone Program and more.
The June 5 event is a free “La Mesa Chamber Members Only” event.
