Taylor Custom Rings is a showroom in North County where you can find jewelry that is “yours, not mined.” These one-of-a-kind designs are made with mine-free diamonds and gemstones and recycled precious metals. This is a trend with the eco-conscious mindset and those who have ethical concerns about diamond sourcing. There is an overall shift toward sustainability in the industry especially with millennials and the Gen Z. There are many benefits for these non-traditional engagement rings. The direction is accelerating due to these ethical benefits and affordability.

Taylor Custom Rings was started in 2015 by husband and wife owners Ashley and Jerry Taylor. They have opened their first jewelry showroom at The Beacon La Costa. Customers have a choice to choose a piece from the store collection or they could create a custom design. These 100% real lab-grown diamonds are identical to their mined counterparts. The only difference is one is formed above the ground while the other is in the earth. In 2018, the FTC ruled that lab-grown diamonds were physically, chemically, and identical to their mined counterparts.
Ashley and Jerry Taylor create unique collections for engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and other celebratory occasions. Everything is handcrafted with attention to detail. They believe that we should be kind to the Earth by using quality environmentally-conscious materials. These lab-grown diamonds, moissanite, and gemstones were made without harmful mining or exploitation. Some of the advantages are larger, nicer diamonds, and lower prices, which will add up to about 30-40% less than mined diamonds. The name of some of their popular styles are The Stevie Ring, The Darby Ring, and the Sojourner Ring.
Taylor Custom Rings is at the forefront of ethical jewelry design. If you have been looking for sustainability in jewelry look no further. Visit this showroom at 7740 El Camino Real, Suite C in Carlsbad.
