The 2022-23 school year has come to an end.
At Patrick Henry, we are very proud of the work taking place here to support all our learners to become thoughtful and productive citizens with a sense of purpose, integrity and a curiosity about the world in which they live.
The faculty and staff would like to congratulate the 620 seniors of the Class of 2023. We are so very proud of their accomplishments and we are so excited for them to start their new journeys. Remember – once a Patriot always a Patriot. We are looking forward to learning about your new experiences. Way to go Class of 2023.
We celebrated our graduates on Wednesday, June 14 in our stadium. The graduation ceremony was also live streamed.
Our graduation ceremony was kicked off by our band and orchestra playing “Pomp and Circumstance.” Then, our senior Bel Canto singers sung the National Anthem and our PHHS Alma Mater.
Several of our student leaders spoke to our senior class, they were: our Valedictorian, Benjamin Broudy, our ASB president, Hudson Lane and our senior class president, Nik Carruthers. Each described their journeys through PHHS and their hope for the future. We were honored that Board of Education Vice President Shana Hazan attended our ceremony and accepted the Class of 2023. Mrs. Hazan also congratulated each senior as they walked across the stage. Our commencement ended when senior Jack Reinig sang an original song he wrote for the Class of 2023. The night was filled with cheers, hugs and elation.
We wish the very best for our graduates! We know they will go forth to make this world a better place.
Congratulations!
