Looking to spend some time out in nature this Saturday? If so, plan on heading over to Mt. Helix Park for Nature Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Among the attractions will be:

* Live animals and a butterfly release

* 30+ nature organizations

* Activities, education, crafts

* Native plant sale

There will be free shuttles at Grossmont High School and member only parking @ Fire Station 21.

Volunteers are needed for this Saturday’s event.

For those looking to volunteer, shift options are as follows:

* 8-10 a.m. – (Set up)

* 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Shift 1)

* Noon – 3 p.m. (Shift 2)

* 3 – 5 p.m. (Clean up)
