With the completed renovation of Fashion Valley mall only weeks away, the shopping center is already celebrating the storefront grand openings of luxury brands David Yurman and Dolce & Gabana, as well as the grand reopening of Rolex Boutique Fourtané.
Other stores are expected to open in the mall soon, including gorjana, JD Sports, Veronica Beard and luxury watchmaker Tudor. Many of the businesses at the mall cater to high-end, elite clientele.
The multi-million dollar renovation and expansion of the mall itself is expected to be completed by the end of this month after years of delays. Mall manager Simon Property Group announced the renovation in 2019 with architecture design from RDC. COVID-19 and other factors caused delays on what is the biggest update to the mall since the 1990s.
Originally, Fashion Valley Mall opened in 1969 with Spanish-style architecture. The facades and seating areas were given a refresh with this renovation. New walkways, bridges and escalators were added to the three-level, open air mall. Simon Property Group, the mall’s 50% owner, also updated the landscaping and added water features.
