Patrick Henry High football kicking off season Friday night

With school back in session, high school sports are picking up where they left off a season ago.

The Patrick Henry High football team kicks off action Friday night when it travels to neighboring Grossmont High. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

The Patriots, who went 5-6 overall and 2-2 in City League action last season, will see their first home action Labor Day weekend when they play host to Mt. Carmel High on Aug. 30.
