With the holiday winter break several weeks in the rearview mirror, the winter sports teams at Patrick Henry High School have been busy of late.

Student photographer Bailey Cawelti caught up recently with the varsity girls’ soccer and boys’ basketball teams, respectively.

 In soccer action, Patrick Henry sits at 7-6-2 as of today.

“We have had our share of injuries that are beginning to mend and the outlook for this group is starting to take shape at the right time,” Head Coach Jason Renfro stated. “With the most difficult strength of schedule in the county we have been tested and with that there’s not much we haven’t seen.”

Patrick Henry will travel to La Jolla High School on Friday, Jan. 24 for its next contest.

In basketball play, the Patriots come into play today with an overall record of 8-14.

Patrick Henry will next be in action Friday, Jan. 24 when it travels to University of San Diego High.
