• The Point Loma High School Site Master Planning (SMP) meeting scheduled for Dec. 11 has been postponed until the early part of 2014. Because of concerns raised at the most recent meeting regarding the feasibility of the proposed parking entrances off of Chatsworth Boulevard, the San Diego Unified School District is planningto have a traffic study/analysis conducted to ensure viability of the concept(s) proposed at the SMP meetings. • The Rock Church’s motorcycle ministry in Point Loma is riding to collect toys for the 17th annual Toys for Joy. Each biker will bring one unwrapped toy as registration for the Toys for Joy toy drive. Toys For Joy will take place at Abraham Lincoln High School. More than 12,000 people are expected to attend the free distribution where families in need will receive toys, food, clothing, and groceries in time for the holidays.
