As fairy tales go, Hansel and Gretel had a happy ending. But in real life, our little bite-sized cat Gretel finds herself on her own. She’s looking for an owner who will shower her with lots of affection. Gretel is a 2-year-old, spayed, short-hair cat that weighs just under six pounds. She’s easygoing and loves to play.
If you’d like to give her story a happy ending too, visit her at the County’s animal care facility at 2481 Palomar Airport Road in Carlsbad. It’s open from 9:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
