San Diego secured their spot at the top of the standings, winning the NWSL Shield on Saunday, Oct. 15. They will play in the semifinals at the Snapdragon Stadium on November 5.

They beat Racing Louisville 2-0 with a goal from Jaedyn Shaw assisted by Alex Morgan and another goal from Alex Morgan assisted by Madison Pogarch .
