
Colliers International recently announced the hiring of Andy La Dow as regional managing director of the San Diego region. As regional managing director, La Dow will oversee operations in the Carlsbad and San Diego offices of Colliers International and its approximately 100 commercial real estate professionals.
La Dow joins Colliers with more than 31 years of commercial real estate experience in San Diego specializing in representing office building and institutional landlords and corporate office users. Most recently, La Dow was senior managing director at DTZ, formerly Cassidy Turley.

La Dow is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a bachelor of arts in business management. He and his wife, Robin, reside in Point Loma and have two sons Jake, a senior at St. Mary’s College, and Will, a freshman at Stanford University. He is an avid yacht racer and has served on the board of directors and as commodore for the San Diego Yacht Club, the board of directors for San Diego Sail Events Association, and chairman of Southern California Youth Yacht Racing Association.
Some of La Dow’s notable clients during his career have included Ernie Hahn, Harry Summers, Sam Zell, Sunroad Enterprises, and Cricket Communications. More recently he has worked with Principal Global Real Estate Investors owner of Hazard Center Office Tower, EMMES Realty Service owner of 1 Columbia Place and 2 Columbia Place, Deutsche Bank owner of Emerald Plaza and BBL Real Estate, owner of the iconic Mr. A’s building.
