
Point Loma’s track and field team took top honors at the recent Mustang Relays hosted by Otay Ranch High School.
Pointer boys took first place overall, while the Lady Pointers took second, just one point behind champion Serra.
Numerous first place finishes sent the Pointers to victory. They include: Boys

5. Clairemont 26 Some Pointer athletes will qualify for Eastern League prelims held (May 10) and finals (May 13), while CIF prelims (May 21) and finals (May 28) also loom for qualifiers.
Those who qualify for the State Championship meet June 3 and 4 will have to travel to Buchanan High School in Clovis, Calif. Head coaches for the Pointers are Keith DeLong and Athletic Director Alexandra Van Heuven.
