LA JOLLA — San Diego police are investigating a robbery that took place at Bulfer Jewelry sometime after 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 27, when the store closed. Employees at the jewelry store, located at 7777 Girard Ave. Suite 102, told police the opened the shop at about 8:45 a.m. on Jan. 28 to find that the wall had been damaged and ten jewelry boxes worth about $100 had been taken. Police said the suspects entered a common hallway, broke the dividing wall, took the boxes and left. There are no further details at this time.
