In anticipation of the springtime baby season, Project Wildlife’s Virtual Baby Shower aims to collect supplies needed to provide treatment, care and nourishment to more than 12,000 wild animals expected to come through Project Wildlife this year. The Baby Shower began on Jan. 15 and will last through Feb. 9.
The most-needed items of 2019 include jarred baby food, wild bird seed, paper towels, canned dog and cat food and Pedialyte. A complete Amazon wish list of items needed can be found at https://bit.ly/2FpGxFt. Supplies can be sent directly to Project Wildlife.
“Young wild animals rely on Project Wildlife for a second chance, and our baby shower ensures that we have enough supplies to give those animals the care they need to survive,” said Lauren DuBois, director of Wildlife Rehabilitation. “Each animal plays an important role in making up this ecosystem, so it’s crucial we take care of them.”
