The public is invited this Thursday to visit the site for the new Oak Park Library.
The Friends of the Oak Park Library invites residents of El Cerrito to join them Thursday to visit the proposed new library site which will be located approximately half a mile south of El Cerrito adjacent to Chollas Lake.
Even if you frequent and support the College-Rolando Library, the new Oak Park Library will reportedly be just as convenient for residents of El Cerrito to patronize. The only difference is that patrons would travel south on 54th Street rather than east on El Cajon Boulevard or Montezuma Boulevard.
The get-together this Thursday is at 3 p.m. at the North Side of College Grove Way approximately three blocks east of 54th Street.
Those attending are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
