Hello, District 7 neighbor.
Fixing our roads and improving local infrastructure like parks and libraries is my number one priority for our neighborhoods.
I am proud to announce that in the past month, we have successfully repaved several roads across the Navajo area and the rest of District 7. This includes a portion of Mission Gorge Road and multiple streets in Allied Gardens, which now feature a fresh layer of asphalt, making the roads smoother for drivers.
While I’m pleased with this progress, I am also aware that many of our roads are still in poor condition and need urgent repairs.
More repaving is on the way; to view a new interactive map of projects across District 7 and San Diego, please visit bit.ly/SDProjectFinderMap. This improved tool allows residents to sign up for email alerts for their neighborhood or other selected areas on the map, and provides access to other helpful features.

I’d also like to invite you to my next regularly scheduled Coffee with Campillo event, where we provide the coffee, and you bring the conversation topics.
We will be meeting at Bayside Community Center on Saturday, June 29, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with coffee supplied by Coffee Cycle Roasting. I look forward to our discussions. RSVP at the link here:bit.ly/CoffeeWithCampilloJune2024.
Finally, my office is hosting an exciting workshop in collaboration with Bayside Community Center to share green bin best practices.
This one-hour session will be held at Bayside Community Center from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, June 28.
Attendees will learn best practices for green bin use, pest reduction strategies, and proper sorting methods, and will receive a free food scrap kitchen caddy (while supplies last). To sign up, use the following link: bit.ly/CD7GreenBinBestPractices.
