This Saturday (Dec. 2) is your chance to meet the ArtReach Mural Program Team and share your design ideas in regards to the future mural slated for the SDG&E Rolando substation fence on 62nd and El Cajon Blvd.
The meeting will take place at the College-Rolando Branch Library (6600 Montezuma Road) from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
A year ago, ArtReach-San Diego completed a number of murals throughout the College Area including, those on the campuses of St. Katharine Drexel Academy, Iftin Charter School and Nativity Prep.
They also worked with a few College Area businesses such as the Storefront at The Jazz Lounge & Little Fish Comic Book Studio, Majorette’s new storefront and the “Heart of College Area” at The Little Flower.
Those stopping by can provide their design perspective to make this mural reflective of the neighborhood. Attendees can also meet members of the ArtReach Mural Program team and representatives from SDG&E.
Light refreshments will also be available to all who participate.
