The 12th annual San Diego Made Spring Market will take place in La Mesa Village on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting at Spring Street and La Mesa Boulevard.

This spring festival will feature more than 130 curated local makers and artisans, interactive art installations, creative workshops for adults and children, floral bars, and more. Attendees can enjoy plenty of Instagram-worthy moments with free photo booths provided by EZ Photo Booth, featuring vintage trailers, styled décor, and handcrafted backdrops.

Live music performances will take place throughout the day, with artists such as Nathan & Jessie, Good Gravy Street Blues, Taylor Jones, Dev Lovv, and other local talents providing a soundtrack for the festivities.

This family-friendly event is a way to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend. Guests can shop for locally made gifts for mom and enjoy a variety of kid-friendly activities, including a bounce house and mini-golf, courtesy of San Diego Pop-up Mini Golf.

The event will also feature a Young Entrepreneurs section, where students from Helix Charter High School will showcase and sell their handcrafted products.

Visitors can enjoy a selection of spring-inspired mocktails from a specialty mocktail bar, along with sweet treats from PotioN7 Ice Cream and artisan coffee from The Space Coffee. Savory food trucks such as Z’s Buddies Sushi and Ramen, Pacific Island Crave, and Doggos Gus will be on-site, complementing the many eateries along La Mesa Boulevard, many of which will be offering event-day specials. A fun scavenger hunt form will be available at the information booths, and those who complete it will receive a special gift. Additionally, guests can enter a free pre-event giveaway by RSVPing on the event website for a chance to win locally made prize packs and gift certificates.

Thanks to the support of the City of La Mesa, entry to the San Diego Made Spring Market is free this year, making it an accessible and enjoyable outing for all.

City of La Mesa Communications Manager Grecia Aguilar noted, “We’re excited about the second annual Spring Market in La Mesa. San Diego Made received funding for the Spring Market through the Downtown Village Enhancement Fund Program. The program is funded using half of the annual net revenue from the Downtown Parking Fund. This program supports businesses and nonprofits by providing grants for events, promotions, programs, or advertising activities within the boundaries of Parking District Number One.
