San Diego State University and California Coast Credit Union leaders recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony commemorating the grand opening of the new Cal Coast Credit Union Student Financial Center.

In 2023, CCCU pledged $3 million to establish a financial center to assist students better secure financial literacy and wellness skills. The Cal Coast Credit Union Student Financial Center, situated on the second floor of SDSU’s Student Services west, has undergone renovations and expansions during the past year while still being accessible to students. The Center serves as a hub when it comes to financial education, offering resources for financial aid, bill paying, budgeting, and more.

With construction coming to a close, the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated the Center’s progress toward becoming a well-established, accessible and free resource for students and the entire SDSU community.
