UNIVERSITY CITY — The San Diego Police Department’s Northern Division received a call on Jan. 17 from a woman who claimed to be the victim of sexual battery. The call came from the 9500 block of Easter Way in University City. The alleged attack occurred around 2 p.m., at which time the alleged victim said she was lying outside near her apartment’s pool. She reported that a 6-foot-tall man wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes approached her and touched her in an inappropriate manner. Lt. Jim Filley of the Northern Division said that there are no leads at this time, though investigators are still in the process of determining if there are any witnesses or a video of the incident.
