Same Same But Different (SSBD) has announced its new event, SUBmerged, the first in its Same Same But Smaller series that will pave the way to this year’s SSBD Festival in September.
On April 11, SUBmerged will take over Spin Nightclub, 2028 Hancock St., showcasing electrifying, bass-driven performances from Wonky Willa, CapoChino, Shöckface, and Cam Steen. Fans can expect an underwater world with glowing jellyfish, bubble machines, coral displays, a Kraken DJ booth takeover, and a rotating disco ball deep-sea diver’s helmet.
“We’re bringing the raw, unfiltered vibes of SSBD’s bass side into a club setting, creating an intimate yet powerful experience that sets the tone for what’s to come at the festival,” says Brad Sweet, co-founder of SSBD. “This is for the bassheads, the night owls, and anyone ready to dive deep into the sound.”
With a distinct theme and the signature energy that defines SSBD, SUBmerged offers fans a chance to connect with the festival’s community and experience top-tier production in a new and intimate setting. As part of the lead-up to SSBD 2025, attendees will also gain exclusive access to discounted festival tickets and special on-site perks.
Whether you’re a longtime SSBD attendee or a nightlife lover looking for something new, SUBmerged is your chance to dive in and be part of the journey. Buy tickets Here.
