Business leader and philanthropist Tom Steyer, who serves as president of NextGen America, will join hundreds of San Diegans 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7 at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 2728 Sixth Ave., to discuss current issues in climate change politics, climate justice, and how Californians can take effective action.
Steyer will be introduced by San Diego City Councilmember Chris Ward, and followed by Councilmember Barbara Bry, who will discuss implementing a Community Choice Energy program in San Diego to meet the goal of 100 percent clean energy.
