DOWNTOWN — A man described as being a white male in his 60s entered the Chase Bank at Seventh and Broadway in a wheelchair at 10:31 a.m. Monday, July 26, displayed a gun and demanded cash, according to a San Diego Police Department (SDPD) report. The suspect fled the bank in his wheelchair but was taken into custody a short distance from the bank, according to police. The SDPD Robbery Unit is investigating.
