Last Sunday’s early morning fatal shooting in the 7100 block of Waite Drive in La Mesa has yielded the victim’s identity.
According to the La Mesa Police Department, the victim in this case has been identified as 42-year-old Roderick Stroman of San Diego.
Investigators believe the suspect in this case specifically targeted Stroman, although their exact relationship and what led to Stroman being targeted remains under investigation.
