El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells announced recently that his final quarterly finance report for 2023 will show more than $525,000 raised into his campaign for California’s 51st Congressional district.
During the first three quarters of 2023, Wells outperformed his opponents in individual donations and his team expects the same outcome with this final quarterly report. Wells’ campaign for Congress is fueled by 570 unique donors.
“I am humbled and honored to have the support of so many individuals who have given generously of their time and treasure to support our campaign and our vision for the nation,” said Wells. “I believe that America is and can remain the greatest nation on Earth if we all do our part to stand up for the American values of hard work, individual liberty, and opportunities to prosper.”
Wells grew up in California’s 51st Congressional district and raised his family in the district too.
Serving as Mayor since 2013, Wells has been re-elected three times by sweeping margins. A doctor of psychology and registered nurse with more than 35 years of experience as a mental health professional, Wells has become a nationally recognized expert on the issue of homelessness.
