CHOCOLATE CHIP CAKE
A rich, old-fashioned cake recipe straight out of the 1970s. This recipe comes from Joan Mauch, a great cook who made this for family birthdays for years and who we recently lost.

Ingredients:
1 large chocolate fudge cake mix
1 3 or 4 ounce chocolate pudding mix
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
12 ounce package dark chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all ingredients except chocolate chips for two minutes. Pour into lightly greased and floured bundt pan, alternating layers of chocolate chips and batter. Reserve 1/3 of the chips to sprinkle on top. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees or until a toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.
Happy spring!
