On Monday, July 10, the City will begin accepting online applications for year two funding for the La Mesa Facade and Property Improvement Grant Program. The application link will go live at 8 a.m.

The grant program provides matching grant funding for business owners and property owners of retail, commercial, industrial and office properties in the City to complete exterior improvements to business-use properties. The grant is for improvements or renovations of existing buildings when a combination of several of the following are included: structural façade improvements, paint, awnings, signs, addition of architectural detail to the façade such as tile or stone accents, decorative entry walkway areas, irrigated landscaping, outside decorative lighting and new windows.
