If you’re looking for something to do in La Mesa now and the next couple of months, how about a movie or two?
That said, what does Free Willy, Puss in Boots and Super Mario Bros all have in common?
They are all going to be played this summer during the La Mesa Summer Movies in the Park.
Pack a picnic, blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a free movie in one of La Mesa’s beautiful parks. Arrive early to enjoy games and browse through vendors before the movies kick off at sunset.
The schedule includes:
* July 28 – Free Willy at MacArthur Park, 4900 Memorial Drive.
* Aug. 25 – Puss in Boots at La Mesita Park, 8855 Dallas Street.
* Sept. 22 – The Super Mario Bros Movie at MacArthur Park, 4900 Memorial Drive.
These fun events for the whole family are sponsored by Rose SD Realty, EDCO Disposal, La Mesa Village Association, Sharp Grossmont Hospital, and Sporting SD.
