Wave House hosts Swim 4 Life
The Wave House Athletic Club in Belmont Park is hosting SurfAid International’s first Swim 4 Life fund-raiser Saturday, March 31.
Participants have formed teams and solicited donors to sponsor individuals for each lap they swim in 30 minutes. The money raised will help address global issues such as malaria, malnutrition and access to clean water for people living in remote surfing areas.
Participants will also have the opportunity to win prizes such as surfboards, skateboards, clothing and passes to the Wave House. The top fund-raiser will receive a Craig Hollingsworth custom-shaped Biofoam surfboard. To sign up to swim or form a team, visit www.surfaidinternational.org/swim4life or call (760) 753-1103.
